Elmer's Glue Crew Recycling Program is a fun, hands-on way to teach about recycling. As a program member, you'll have access to plenty of helpful recycling-related curriculum and fun projects to keep your kids excited about recycling. Click here to access the 2010-2011 Teacher Planning Calendar.
Best of all, you and your students also have the opportunity to win hundreds of great prizes, including a year-end Grand Prize!
We award a grand prize winner of the Elmer's Glue Crew Recycling Program® toward the end of each school year. Every year it's a difficult task to select a winner as so many teachers and students go above and beyond the call of duty. Your grand prize submission builds over the course of the year. You'll notice throughout the year, we'll ask you to submit lesson plans, pictures of your recycling bins, essay projects, etc. All this information is collected and considered as part of your Grand Prize submission.
While the amount of empty bottles and sticks you recycle is important, the ultimate judging criteria is HOW you incorporate the Elmer's Glue Crew Recycling Program into your classroom. We ask that you share anything that shows your classroom's commitment to recycling - projects and ideas, lesson plans, and other recycling-related materials to help increase the entry's chance of winning. Below are additional items to consider when developing the entry. In addition, your materials and photos may even be featured on the Program Resources page. So don't be shy - show us what you're doing!
- Classroom recycling projects
- Photos of "green" projects, displays and/or your decorated collection box
- Your classroom goal for the Elmer's Glue Crew Recycling Program
- Anything else that demonstrates your classroom's commitment to recycling and the Elmer's Glue Crew Recycling Program

We're providing these details now so you can best plan your year. Good luck!
